Most people don’t like the idea of being stuck on a bus for a long bus ride. This is something that can be very boring and not a fun experience at all. Find out some things that you can do that will help you become more comfortable while on a ride that last for hours.
Bring food along the trip for yourself. You are going to need to eat and eating will help pass the time. Have sandwiches, protein bars, and plenty of bottled water.
Have something to do that can keep you from being bored. If you have a video MP3 player, load it up with videos and movies. This way you can watch these while you are riding to pass the time. You can also listen to music, play videos games on a portable console, or even read if that doesn’t make you car sick.

Have a small pillow that you bring along. This doesn’t have to be a full sized pillow at all. There are two reasons for this. It will give your head a place to rest if you want to sleep. Also the seat will become uncomfortable. You can sit on the pillow to give yourself something different to sit on.
Try to get up and walk around from time to time. This will stretch out your legs so that they won’t feel so tired. You will get a bit of your blood moving so that you can feel better.
Try to get your own seat if you can. This is best done if you are traveling on less popular days and times. With your own seat, you will be much more comfortable since you have room to spread out.
Relax during your trip and try to take a few naps. This will pass the time much faster and make you feel a bit better.
